		<description>Hey thanks for coming Jeff!

I am glad you enjoyed the concert so much, I need to point something out. It may not seem super important, but I think it is... as recording engineer I am always concerned that my mics will lead folks to think the orchestra is amplified. Only the A Prayer Out of Stillness had any amplification. That amplification was limited to the first movement, only Patitucci, and only through the 2 small boxes on the stage! Typically the orchestra never uses amplification, so the Rite of Spring? Yup all them, no assistance!

<description>That was great - thanks for coming to our little Blogger Night and posting your thoughts. For me it doesn&#039;t matter if it&#039;s a concert at Powell Hall, the Creepy Crawl or a blues festival in Mississippi -- something magical (usually) happens. There are times where the constant barrage of the outside world fades away and it&#039;s as close as I ever get to being in &quot;the moment&quot; -- and I definitely felt that more than once on Saturday night.
